As we converted the Sprinter 4×4 in 2017 this will be a commented photo report of the build.
This is part three of the build where we build the interior, so the cabinets, bed etc. We have chosen for steel and wood (birch and oak) and oak veneer.
Lights integrated in the ceiling and pvc frames around the hatch and Maxxfan.
Pannel for the large side window. 2 cm insulation on 0,5 cm Oukome wood and felt. Very good insulation and 100% blinding.
Steel bedframe 160 x 190 cm hung on the walls.
Cabinets under bedframe and heating pipes concealed. 12 mm. Oukome wood with cork.
Kitchen frame, also made of steel.
Building the drawers and cabinets out of birch with oak veneer. Indel B 130 liters compressor fridge with oak veneer. Kitchen sink installed. Another heater exit in plinth under kitchen.
Room for a Porta Potti
We made a heavy curtain that we can hang behind the front seats. The other side of the curtain is grey, from the outside it looks as a fixed wall. Also very good insulation in winter.
Captain chairs parked under the bed.
Captain chairs folded out to become two extra comfy seats!
Grey chest on the left is skibox 200 cm long. Zarges chest and spare wheel. Pannel at the back of the bed as backrest and protection against snowfall when the back doors are open.
